based on the averages found in repetitive testing, at sea
level.
If gel is placed
directly on a flat surface it does not spread.
When lit, the
ethanol escaping from the gel burns with a clean
blue flame. The flame is directly above the gel
and does not burn the wood. The evaporation
process keeps the gel from becoming hot to the
touch.
When the gel is
completely burnt out, it leaves a solid residue
that is easily cleaned.
